With RoboForm’s latest update, you can stop wondering which of your passwords have been identified in data breaches. We’ve got you covered. Besides evaluating the strength of your passwords, RoboForm now informs you whenever one of your passwords has been found in a data breach. A compromised password should be changed immediately because the security of that account is now at risk. This update makes it simple to identify and replace passwords that have been compromised.
To detect compromised passwords, RoboForm password manager continuously scans against a list maintained by Have I Been Pwned (HIBP), a highly regarded service that collects credentials exposed in data breaches.
This feature is currently available on Windows using the Start Page or Chrome extension and on Mac using the Start Page or Safari extension. Other browsers will be supported in a future update.
How to identify compromised passwords in RoboForm

How to easily change compromised passwords in RoboForm
- Navigate to the “Compromised” tab in the Security Center on the Start page.
- Hover your cursor over the Login, and click the “Log in and change password” button that displays. RoboForm will log you in automatically.
- Once logged in, go to the site’s “Change Password” menu. Use the RoboForm Password Generator to create a complex password rated ‘Strong.’ RoboForm will save the new password and update your Security Score accordingly.
